I like the fact that all bikers share a kind of bond. An instant community if you will. It is the best feeling in the world riding somewhere new, seeing my friends, new and old, riding in front and behind me. It gives me a sense of belonging and freedom that I never before had.

It is the descovery of new roads, re-riding old ones and the absolute honesty shared.
Another point, I rode to Meltonwold alone, but as I arrived, my friends were still awaake, awaiting me with warmth and love. What more can I say? THANK YOU, one and all, my biker family..  smitten

When i heard that you were on your way in the dark and freezing cold I realised that you were a real HARDCORE biker.

All I can say is RESPECT !

That is true but I also like the close contact with the environment ... entering a small rural town at sundown ... slowing cruising up the mainstreet and smelling all the different aromas from the houses ... I love the smell of the freshly tilled highveld farms and I enjoy the smell of the forests in the mountains.

All these things are great and then I have to say ... I love the solitude of being in my helmet space ... one of the main reasons why I rarely use an iPod.

Ek . . . ek like jaag. I love speed. The thrill, the excitement, the danger . . . I LOVE IT!!!

If EVER I have enough money to do this, I want to build a bike - Busa or ZX14 - that is capable of doing 450km/h. Why?? To feel what it feels like. For the rush. To allow my bodies adrenaline to take complete control.

Groetnis

Only a biker can really know why we ride ... so many things. Yep Wim when I was young I also felt that need for speed. Just the other day I was saying to Roan that maybe I must get a K1200R and take it to someone with only instruction ... "As fast as possible." Smiley ... problem is that I wont have the balls to ride it Wink
