Need some help please.

This morning I nearly got rear-ended by a taxi   (still dark out there when I leave home in the morning).
Never thought the RT could lift the front wheel in second Saw him coming and just gunned it and dropped the clutch.
Yee-ha, almost felt like a young man again, till reality set in, that is.........

OK, so what can I do to make the bike more visible from the rear? I was thinking of these reflective strips lasercut to size to stick on the panniers and top-box.

Your thoughts on alternatives and where to get these?

I have seen a few guys with the tape that is used by trucks ... stick a piece on the tailbox and small pieces on the panniers.

The Americans are big on adding more lights to their bikes.
