Well what can I say ... massive power outage in Nelspruit and we want to go out for something to eat. At the Casterbridge complex in Whiteriver we struck bedrock ... seems like everyone in Nelspruit was there and we could not find a single spot for 4 people.
My brother phoned Oliver's at Whiteriver Country Estate and we were lucky to get a table.
All I will say is that this place is fantastic and the atmosphere is great. They have quite an extensive menu and the lady that took our orders was very friendly and knew what she was talking about.
We did not take any starters and we opted for their current SPECIAL ... the ladies took the Seafood Platter and me and my brother opted for the Fillet Medallions ... Pork, Beef and Ostrich.
For desert I took a Kiwi-Lemon Sorbet and my brother had some Vanilla Cream.
The food was fantastic and if you really want to dine on fine cuisine then Oliver's is the place to go.
The bill for 4 people came to just over R900.00 and it included drinks of around R200.00.
