In the beginning of this month I was visiting my friend Tage on Åland. Here is some pictures from the trip.


Finally on my way, over the bridge to Sweden. Did I remember my passport ? Ohhh NO.
Ahh well I don't need it with in the Nordic countries.  Tongue

Beautiful weather for a trip like this. Had a beautiful sunset over the lake Vättern. Sorry no pictures. Was a little busy driving as the rush hour was setting in.

Just north of Linköping, I had found a nice bed and breakfast out in the country.
Well I had to drive into Linköping. No a good idea without a GPS. Hard to find the right way out of that town, but finally a found a familiar roundabout.

Next morning started out a bit misty, but after a couple of hours the sun finally broke through the clouds:


I had been thinking of driving into Stockholm, but gave up as I hit the outskirts of the city in rush hour. So I was in Kappleskär north of the city in real good time, so I went back track to Norrtäjle to have something to eat for lunch.

On the way back to Kappleskär the weather turn from okay to bad.

Saturday, Tage took me a trip around the main Islands.
First we went to see the castle Kastelholm, that was built by the Swedish King:


Well today some part of it has very good "ventilation":

Walking around the castle this shows up:

Why did the name Vil come in mind ? Not really sure  crazy2

What we had walk into was an open air museum:

Well its was may, but still they had a may pole.

The buildings was move to the place from around the islands:

is that.... no that is another mill. Think there were 3 or 4 of them.
