OK, so on Friday afternoon I picked up a brand new demo 800ST at Lifestyle Centre.
My son in law hope to get his before the end of the week (he did not want to brave Midrand traffic at 4 in the afternoon and I humbly offered to do the dirty work and ride the ST home)
Rain on Saturday but we left home at around 7 and headed out towards Harties (sorry, no phodies on this trip), had a nice brekkie in Magallies and then headed towards the Krugersdorp/Pretoria highway. All of a sudden no more ST behind the RT
Then followed the longest 10 minutes of my life & the first and only thought at that time "what am I going to say to my daughter". Turned back and the relief when I saw him standing next to road is indescribable

On call pitched 3 hours later to trailer the bike home, and Colyn, by then I did not even care how they tied her down
Eagerly awaiting a verdict this morning, and no I don't think it put him off wanting his bike asap
